Speedflow
This is one of the best-known brands of high quality aerospace style fittings for use in motorsport.
Australian made Speedflow aluminium components are made from marine quality 6061 billet so there are no hidden flaws and a good billet finish is achieved.
All Speedflow products are anodised using a hard coat anodising system chosen for its hard-wearing properties and products are available in a very wide variety of colours.
Speedflow’s steel range of fittings are plated with the Electroless Nickel Process to offer a durable uniform coating with a bright finish and a high degree of corrosion resistance. There is also a degree of lubricity to reduce galling problems associated with stainless steel.
Aflex Hose
Since pioneering the concept of PTFE hose more than 25 years ago, Aflex Hose has designed and manufactured hoses to cope with the most difficult operating conditions.
Aflex’s Smoothbore seamless extruded PTFE tube smoothbore hose is heat treated to produce the best quality PTFE lining possible ensuring minimum porosity and maximum flexibility.
Aflex Hydraline Smoothbore is a medium walled PTFE tube to suit standard hydraulic crimp or reusable hose fittings.
It is available with a 304 stainless steel cover with a natural or anti-static liner to cater for fuel and flammable solvents.
The Aflex hydrauline is available in smooth or convoluted tube and now a smooth internal bore with a convoluted external wall for flexibility – the Hydrauline FX.
The Hydrauline FX is available in a 304 stainless steel, polypropylene, Kevlar, silicone, PVC or nylon braid. It is also available in a natural or anti-static liner that combined is fuel and solvent compatible and extremely flexible.
